In 2010, New York City artist, Kyle Brincefield started STUDmuffin NYC, a unique clothing line offering one-of-a-kind customizable pieces, as a way to further share his love of urban street fashion and downtown art with the world. Each handmade piece takes on a life on their own, eluding a "look at me" vibe that allows the wearer to feel young, hip and fun, an idea he finds crucial to everything he creates.
Drawing inspiration from his love of downtown street art, Kyle caught the eye of renowned fashion designer and stylist Patricia Field, who called him "one of her missing puzzle pieces" and whose legendary store on NYC's Bowery began carrying original pieces in early 2012. Since then, his clothing has been seen on celebrities such as Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Missy Elliott, Gigi Hadid, Emma Watson, Jena Malone, Brooke Candy, Adam Lambert and more. As well as appearing in the pages of Vogue Magazine, V Magazine, Cosmopolitan, GQ, i-D Magazine, Nylon Magazine, Paper Magazine and shot by top photographers such as Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, and Steven Klein.
Now with STUDmuffin NYC growing and in high demand, Kyle has turned to building has brand globally while still appealing to his "one of a kind" customer.
